Casino Game
The folks at Harrah's won't be hanging a name on the new Horseshoe casino, but inside the corporation, there's a nickname that's probably going to stick: MOAB. Mother Of All Boats. The new, $500 million, 175,000-square-foot Horseshoe "boat" is a big, fancy facility for sure. The old boat is now for sale and docked in Burns Harbor.
PARK RIDGE, Ill. The Big Ten's investigation of two games involving an official with a history of financial troubles and casino gambling turned up no evidence to suggest the integrity of either 2007 game was compromised, the conference announced Friday, Aug. 8.
