The Little River Casino Resort began laying off 100 of its 950 employees Monday. General Manager Michael Garrow said the casino resort in Manistee Township is experiencing the same loss of business as other casinos in the state.
With the state Supreme Court set to rule Tuesday on whether the Tropicana Casino and Resort was wrongly stripped of its casino license, a sale of the troubled gambling hall could happen soon.
