HUDSON, N.H. -- Nine months after a Boston developer scrapped plans for the "RiverPlace" shopping center on the 375-acre site of Green Meadow golf course, the property owner has proposed a 135,000 square-foot casino, 300-room hotel, 18-hole "championship" golf course, and the state's largest convention center.
The co-founder of a criminal ring aimed at cheating casinos right here in the valley pleads guilty. Tai Khiem Tran, 47, now admits he and his co-conspirators got up to $1 million during card cheats.
