Casino Gambling
Ohio officials say passage of a casino issue on the state's fall ballot could threaten casino nights held by churches and charities. Attorney General Richard Cordray says the proposed constitutional amendment could cause a court to find any other casino-style gambling illegal in Ohio. A lawyer for a group backing the casino plan maintains that it would have no impact on gambling currently .
"I want to tax, regulate and control gambling in the state," Sparks said, saying they could bring millions into government coffers.
