Online Casino Gambling
When a government chooses knowingly to inflict harm on the public, it has lost its way. The Liberals' expansion of gambling -- especially the latest effort to make online betting into a major revenue stream -- will inevitably cause serious harm to families and communities.
A Kane County task force created to study the issue of video gambling as it relates to unincorporated areas will meet at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. The group features a mix of County Board members, State's Attorney John Barsanti and Sheriff Pat Perez.
